Geckos 1

This is a fun climbing club for 6 to 10 year olds, which is held every Saturday at the Centre. Additional sessions are available midweek during the school holidays.

Ideal for younger children and first time climbers, Geckos 1 is a 'have a go' session with small group sizes (1:6) and is also a starting point for Level 1 NICAS.

Times:

Saturdays: 11.00am - 12.15pm (please arrive at 10.50am) Advance booking essential

Cost:

£10 per session or £50 for 6 sessions, payable at the time of booking.

Geckos 2

Basic skills instruction for 8 - 14 year olds. Previous climbing experience preferred but not essential.

This is the session where youngsters start to learn the basics of climbing safety. Rope work such as belaying and tying in are covered, as well as movement coaching. The session is most suitable for those with some climbing experience. We encourage booking of several consecutive sessions to ensure progressive learning. NICAS levels 1 and 2 are covered.
