We are very excited about the final of the BMC Leading Ladder coming to Kendal Wall on the 27 April. The BMC Leading Ladder has been a very well attended event and the final should be really exciting. The walls will not be closed to non-competitors, but lines with competition routes will be reserved for the Lead Ladder Finalists - well worth a visit to get a few routes done and watch the action!
The top 10 scoring people per category who competed in at least two rounds have been invited to the final. Rob Adie (BMC Competitions Officer) has emailed these competitors. If you think you have qualified for the final, but have not received an email, please contact Rob Adie:
The final will work the same as the local rounds with three categories;
Routes range from F5+ to F8a, with the following three ability categories - Improver, Recreational, and Elite.
The Improver category is aimed at climbers whose on-sight limit is F6B/6B+.
The Recreational category is aimed at climbers whose on-sight limit is F7A/7B.
The Elite category is aimed at climbers whose on-sight limit is F7C/8A.
